Just putting up a short post to simply say thank you to our first responders, the women and men in our military, the people in science, and our elected officials …all of their collective efforts this year and in all the years past allow us to celebrate this most important day in the 245 years of the history of the United States. Their efforts and their dedication allow us all to celebrate our many freedoms. Despite the many challenges we have faced to our democracy, our health, and our lives, this year in particular, we have our freedom.
We are still the country that is an example to the world as to what having freedom can allow people to accomplish and do. Take a moment this weekend to reflect on our successes, our remaining challenges and to those we have lost and let’s collectively offer a “cheers” to our future.
